Lighting solutions for schools

Light is the key to our strongest of the body's senses, namely sight. It is through the eyes that we experience and learn the world around us, and that is why light plays an important role for human. In learning and teaching environments, the light is an important factor, as one wants to create focus on the teacher, the board, the work areas, etc. without creating disturbing glare for the students. With the right lighting, one can even demonstrate a positive effect on both the physical and psychological environment of students.

Our eyes change with age, and it is therefore important to adabt the surroundings with a suitable lighting design that is adapted to the target group. At LITE we work to create the best conditions depending on the target group.

ECOLITE has been create on basis of the many studies that shows lights great impact on human. Besides this, ECOLITE is create by the core values of circular economy; the fixture is built by a few components that can easily be seperated. This means that the parts of ECOLITE's can easily be changed or repaired if anything should break. Futhermore the external driver makes it possible to upgrade the product if new needs shows up. 

ECOLITE also provides a much higher light output at a lower wattage than ordinary panels. In addition, the product provides only indirect light that does not create annoying glare or hard shadows.

At LITE we know that lighting can be quite a complex topic, and that is exactly why we have built a 600m2 showroom at our headquarter in Nørresundby, Denmark. In our showroom you can experience some of our products many fields of applications. In one of our 10 rooms we have designed 'The Classroom of Tomorrow' where you can experience the lighting solution with ECOLITE versus the lighting from a regular LED-panel. 

The room is furnished in collaboration with Højer Møbler, to create as realistic setting as possible. The rooms focuses not only on the optimal lighting solution, but also in a versatile and modern learning environment for children and youngsters.
