Point of Attraction for People of All Ages in Hjallerup

Hjallerup Sports Centre is a focal point for people of all ages. Its central location opposite the school means the centre is used during both the day and the evening.

The hall was facing replacement/renovation of the existing light. Having seen the Sports Centre in Vrå, they immediately started discussions with LITE A/S. The Centre were extremely uncertain whether the light, which LITE A/S could supply, was good enough, and whether the savings would be large enough in relation to the existing energy consumption. But they were quickly convinced by LITE A/S’s calculations.

Both halls were fitted with Sports F fixtures of 150W (as opposed to the existing 285W) with a burn time of 50,000 hours, so the energy savings were immediately apparent. This has led to major savings in the operating budget, since the lamps require minimal maintenance in terms of replacement etc., which means there are no unforeseen electrical bills.

The SPORTS F fixtures from LITE A/S make the tracks look almost as good as new with an obviously better light quality and with a clear white colour (4000K). This pleasant light is beneficial for athletes, who do not get dazzled, and the various notations on the field are more visible than before. The Sports F fixtures light up immediately, and do not "flicker" like ordinary fluorescent lamps, so both athletes and spectators feel more comfortable in the hall with this new lighting.

Changing to LITE A/S’s innovative Sports F fixtures has been a huge success for Hjallerup Sports Centre. They are also saving on energy consumption and operation budget, as well as respecting the environment.
