Mogens Daarbak’s new concept shop in Vejle is not just an inspirational furniture shop, but also a pick-up shop packed with office supplies, coffee and fruit schemes, and a café. Mogens Daarbak wanted to create an inspirational, inviting shop with an extremely high level of service. That is why it was important for the lighting to emphasise the importance of quality, service and responsiveness. It was, therefore, a great honour for LITE A/S to be given the project. Having worked closely together with the installation company, HETEK from Vejle, we are extremely proud of the result.

We chose the ALPHA range for the basic lighting. The fixtures are discreet and resilient. With very little glare, they provide an even, gentle light throughout the shop. The LED fixture is not only incredibly economical, it is also dependable. That is particularly valuable in relation to the number of hours the lights are switched on in the shop each day.

To highlight the exclusive range of products, which Mogens Daarbak offers, we chose to use the MEG track light range. From the MEG range we used 30W LED spotlights directly installed on a rail. MEG spots provide a well-directed, high-quality light, which highlights the shop’s merchandise. Together with the basic lighting, MEGs create beautiful shapes, bring out colours and highlight the various products. The solution is also particularly flexible. It can easily be moved, tilted and rotated to accommodate the new displays the shop is always coming up with.

The shop’s new innovative lighting design from LITE A/S has created a bright, inviting environment for customers. The products are displayed with the right lighting, with an emphasis on high colour rendition and the right Kelvin degree. When you are selling top quality products, proper lighting is essential!

In addition to significant energy savings, Daarbak is also saving money in the operational budget, since LED bulbs have a long service life and do not require frequent replacement. LED lights do not emit heat, so the shop’s indoor climate has also improved significantly, which is particularly beneficial for the staff.
