Office lighting with an industrial lookTo complement their newly renovated office space at the waterfront in Aalborg, Unioil Supply wanted an innovative and imaginative lighting design to emphasize the contrast between the old building and the modern interior.
Unioil Supply wanted a basic lighting design to suit the aluminum ceiling structure, which is present in the majority of the office space. In addition, the lighting should also fit the raw design that characterizes the décor. Furthermore, it was important that the lighting solution could support daylight control. For this task, the natural choice was the HIGHBAY lamp with a DALI control system.
For the meeting rooms, Unioil Supply was inspired by the office lighting solution at LITE’s Showroom, which has custom-build drop ceiling lights with colors. The same solution was implemented at Unioil Supply where drop ceilings with RGB ribbons illuminate the ceiling, while ABC spots within the drop ceiling light up the table in the meeting room.
The HIGHBAY lamps in the tall ceilings highlight the industrial style within the room, while the colored lighting creates a modern expression.
